No. The programme is designed for creators who are comfortable with digital tools and want to explore spatial storytelling. You don’t need deep AR experience.
No. While we do our best to partner with as many creators as possible we must limit our intake to ensure each accepted creator gets enough support from our team to make their Lureo journey a positive one! Apply today, if you are a match you’ll hear back from our team soon on next steps.
Your scene must include:
- A spatial anchor
- Use of multiple keyframes on an asset / at least one animation
- Minimum 5 assets
- A couple of great images/ video to capture your new creation
- Be published to the Lureo platform (drafts don’t count)
A little structure, but still plenty of room for your creativity to thrive. This ensures the templates our community are creating deliver maximum value for creators coming to our platform. Our team reviews all submissions to ensure quality and usability.
The more appealing your template, the more likely users are to use it and your earnings will increase. When your template is approved, you'll see that there is an extra place on the Story Edit page to add cover images and videos. You will find examples of templates with cover images and videos on the Lureo dashboard.
No. All templates go through a quality and usability review to ensure they work well for the wider creator community. If your submission doesn’t meet criteria, we’ll guide you on how to improve it.
Approved templates earn a base template fee plus royalties per published use.
Additional incentives may apply, including:
- Surge Royalties per use (paid until end of June for the current programme window)
- Short window bonuses
- Best performing creator bonus
- Challenge bonus
Payments are processed monthly once your template is approved.
To qualify for royalties or bonuses, a Lureo user must do more than just copy your template. They must edit/change at least 50% of the content and publish it to a new location. The scene will be reviewed by the Lureo team for final approval, and then published to the Lureo app.
Yes. For the current programme, you receive the base template fee on approval plus royalties per use.
You receive the standard royalty payment when the template is used, regardless of whether the end project is commercial or non-commercial. At this stage, royalties are paid per qualifying use event rather than as ongoing revenue share from the end customer project.
Payments are issued at the end of each month for all templates approved during that period. You’ll be prompted to submit PayPal details after approval.
Yes - multiple submissions are encouraged. More high-quality templates = more earning potential.
However, to ensure that our library of templates remains optimised and curated as we scale, templates must be distinctly different from one another, e.g. templates must have a different locations and/or different assets.
If you publish a scene (non-template), you retain ownership of your creative work.
Templates approved for the programme become part of the Lureo template library, which is owned and managed by Lureo so they can be reused by the wider creator community.
You will still be credited as the original creator and remain eligible for applicable royalties during the programme window.
Yes - by submitting content to Lureo, you grant Lureo a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and promote your content for marketing and promotional purposes. This helps us showcase our creators work and grow visibility for the ecosystem (including your creations). You always retain ownership of your original scene content (where applicable).
